My uncle means so much to me. He is a true example of a real old fashioned man. He provided for his family. The example that he set in my mind when I first got to New York in 1990 has always been in the forefront of my mind. I respect how he took care of his family and made it seem easy. And get this, I've never seen him argue or try to debate my aunt down for any reason. Usually when she demanded something, anything he would respond just like this, "Yes, Malissa..." This response means two things: #1 woman you got it #2 I don't want to argue. He knew what she meant to the family. He knew how much he needed her support in order to do what he had to do all day working hard bringing home the bread and the cake. He played his part; therefore, she was able to play hers.
Not these guys today. These men today will cry, bitch, moan, complain about everything a woman demands. And not only that, they feel they should be the ones being taken cared of. It's no wonder everything is a hot ass mess in the homes these days. Every one is confused. The man has lost his way. What is his way you ask? To be STRONG (yeah, the man is supposed to be the STRONG one; last I heard) provide, keep the family safe, and love his family. What is her way? To maintain the home, support her husband, care for the children and nurture the family. MEN and WOMEN are both confused? I know I was when I was married. I would ask for certain things for the house and he would carry on like it wasn't his responsibility. What the hell is this? And don't talk to me about this equality shit, because this does not apply to me. If we are gonna make this equal than you carry a child for 9 months and push him/her out of a tiny hole....then we can call it DUTCH! SHIT!!! wooo saaaa.......
MEN...if what your wife/girl/wifey is asking for is not unreasonable...then get hip and just respond to her with, "yes, [insert name here]"
and I'm TIDE.....
Everything is going well..
